☝️修善寺から車ですぐの東京ラスクファクトリー！This is the Tokyo Rusk Factory, a short drive from Shuzenji!ここの工場で全国へ出荷されてます！甘くて美味しい大好きなお菓子です✨It ’s a delicious sweet that I love.
前置きは終わり〜そろそろ本題へ
今回は、伊豆半島の中心地、「修善寺」に行ってきました⭐︎
アクセスは、三島駅から伊豆箱根鉄道で修善寺へ到着🚃
I went to "Shuzenji" in the center of Izu Peninsula ⭐︎
Access is from Mishima Station to Shuzenji by Izuhakone Railway 🚃
修善寺(SHUZENJI)
修善寺温泉郷とは、約1200年前に弘法大師(空海)が発見した温泉です。鎌倉時代には、源頼家(源頼朝の子供)が暗殺された場で、源氏一族の興亡の土地と言われています。
源頼朝は鎌倉幕府を開き日本で初めて、幕府という制度で朝廷(天皇)を立てながら、政治の実権を握った人物です。
Shuzenji Onsenkyo is a hot spring discovered by Kobo Daishi (Kukai) about 1200 years ago. During the Kamakura period, the Minamoto no Yoriie (a child of Minamoto no Yoritomo) was assassinated, and it is said to be the land of the rise and fall of the Genji era.
Minamoto no Yoritomo was the first person in Japan to open the Kamakura Bakuhu and set up a court (emperor) under the system of the Shogunate (＝Bakuhu) while holding the real power of politics.
指月殿(SHIGETSUDO)
鎌倉幕府二代将軍 源頼家の墓とその家来、十三士(じゅうさんし)が埋蔵されています。頼家は頼朝が亡くなった後に政権を継ぎましたが、覇権争いに負け、入浴中に北条時政(祖父)に暗殺されてしまいました。
The tomb of the second shogun of the Kamakura Shogunate, Minamoto no Yoriie, and his 13 servants, are buried. Yoriie took over the administration after Yoritomo died, but lost the battle for hegemony and was assassinated by Tokimasa Hojo (his grandfather) while taking a bath.
日枝神社(HIE SHRINE)
修善寺から歩いて徒歩1分。
源範頼(MINAMOTO-NO-NORIYORI)が幽閉された地です。建久四年（1193年）8月17日、源範頼（のりより）が兄・頼朝によって伊豆へ配流されました。しかも配流直後に殺されたようです。
源義経に次ぐ犠牲者ですね....
1 minute walk from Shuzenji.
This is the place where Minamoto no Nori (MINAMOTO-NO-NORIYORI) was imprisoned.
On August 17, 1193, Minamoto no Noriyori was exiled to Izu by his brother Minamoto no Yoritomo. Moreover, he seems to have been killed shortly after the exile.

⭐︎わさびWASABIが有名(Famous food is WASABI)
わさびが育つ条件は、常にきれいな水が大量に流れているところ。また水温が常時15℃前後であること。また夏場に暑くならないところ、そして標高の高い土地ということで、伊豆ではわさびが名物なんです✨
新鮮なWASABIをすって食べる！最高に美味しいです✨
The condition for wasabi to grow is that a large amount of clean water is constantly flowing. Also, the water temperature should always be around 15 ° C. Wasabi is a specialty of Izu because it doesn't get hot in the summer and the altitude is high.
Eat fresh wasabi! It ’s the best!
とっこそば(大戸)
竹林の小径(CHIKURINNOKOMICHI)
竹林(TAKEBAYASHI)のことです。Bamboo forest！
↓こんなおっきな筍(TAKENOKO)bamboo shootsがあります！このまま竹になると思うとすごいですね。

弘法大師ゆかりの「とっこの湯」
"Tokko no Yu" related to Kobo Daishi
伊豆最古の温泉と言われています。桂川で病気の父を洗っていた少年に心を打たれたことから弘法大師が温泉治療を伝授しました。
It is said to be the oldest hot spring in Izu. Kobo Daishi taught hot spring treatment because he was touched by a boy who was washing his sick father in Katsura River.
